Home School Legal Defense Association is a nonprofit advocacy organization established to defend and advance the constitutional right of parents to direct the education of their children and to protect family freedoms. Through annual memberships, HSLDA is tens of thousands of families united in service together, providing a strong voice when and where needed.

The Home Education League of Michigan is an advocacy group for the polical interests of homeschoolers. Their most visible function is the annual Homeschool Family Day at the Capitol which has brought as many as one thousand homeschooled children and parents to Lansing to allow them to learn about the way our state government is run. In addition, HELM issues periodic mailings when potentially harmful legislation is being considered in Lansing. As Thomas Jefferson said: "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

INCH stands for Information Network for Christian Homes
Since 1984 their mission has been to serve families interested in or involved in home education by providing the information, resources and encouragement needed to teach children at home in the state of Michigan, and to work to insure the continued freedom to do so.
