Welcome to the KAHSA Connection Website
(Special Announcement) Homeschool Performing Arts presents Fiddler on the Roof to be performed at Comstock Community Auditorium, April 26 – May 5.This classic tale of laughter and heartache, tradition and change has captured the hearts of people everywhere since it first opened in 1964.
A cast of 77 homeschoolers share the story of a twentieth century Jewish family living in czarist Russia. We feel the struggles of Tevye (Zachary Becze of Howe, IN) and his wife Golde (Kate Sinkovitz of Richland), as they cling to the traditions of their faith while their daughters Tzietel (Libby Timmis of Vermontville), Hodel (Melody DeMerrell of Portage), and Chava (Cara Frazee of Watervliet) embrace the new ways of a younger generation. The story is woven together with classic broadway songs including “Tradition,” “If I Were a Rich Man,” and “Sunrise, Sunset.”
Performances are Thursday, April 26, Friday, April 27, and Saturday, April 28 at 7pm as well as Friday, May 4 at 7pm and Saturday, May 5 at 1pm and 7pm. Advance tickets, available at www.hpami.org for $8, are recommended for the performances at Comstock Community Auditorium as many HPA shows sell out. Tickets can also be purchased for $10 at the door. For more information, call (269) 288-1319.

ParentalRights.org produced an excellent video which dramatizes several true examples of abuses which occur in the absence of a clear, constitutional, fundamental right of parents to direct the upbringing of their children. Please take the 35 minutes it takes to watch this video and pass this along to your friends.
